Today, a group of our Women’s Team took to the field at the Cinderford Tournament and put in a fantastic performance from start to finish.
We topped our group with 3 wins and 1 draw, without conceding a single goal, to book our place in the quarter-finals.
In the quarter-final, we defeated Lads Club Yellows 1-0 before facing Midlife United in a tense semi-final, eventually coming through on penalties to reach the final.
There, we faced Bishops Cleeve. Despite hitting the post and crossbar and forcing three outstanding saves from their goalkeeper, we conceded our only goal of the entire tournament in the final minute to narrowly lose 1-0 and finish as runners-up.

An incredible effort from all of the girls. With no natural goalkeeper in the squad, a huge thank you goes to everyone who stepped up and took a turn between the posts—it was a real team effort.
A special mention also goes to Creed, who was deservedly voted Player of the Tournament.
