We have had a fabulous weekend, in this beautiful hot weather. We are so pleased to report that on site most people did a good job at social distancing.

Unfortunately, the amount of litter left on site was outrageous.
PLUS...
We have spent the afternoon scouting the river bed, as children playing in the shallows found many pieces of barbed wire. We believe we have removed the majority but please be careful when entering the river.
This is disgusting behaviour from anyone and is very upsetting to see our beautiful surroundings being treated so disgracefully.

As you are all probably aware...

Due to the current circumstances Kerne Bridge Canoe Launch is currently closed.

I am visiting the site regularly and am taking care of ground maintenance.

We are excited to open as soon as the time is right... But will need to keep you all posted on when that will be exactly.

In the meantime, If you are feeling hungry, just need a chat or some essential groceries... please contact The Paddle Kerne Bridge and have a chat with Charlie on 07896412663.

In all seriousness the River Wye is still rising please do not attempt to drive through this water - the vehicle on the bridge is now stranded after attempting to get through and breaking down❗️

Happy Easter!!! We been so lucky with the weather and it's set to continue for the rest of the bank holiday!
