Welcome to Ross Badminton Club! We play at John Kyrle High School in Ross-on-Wye on Mondays and Fridays from 7.30 p.m.

Welcome to the new season which starts on Friday 4th September, and thereafter on Mondays and Fridays, 7.30 - 9.30 p.m.

For the first time we are starting matches in September, with the following first two home games :

Monday 21st GL Mens Pittville 5
Friday 25th GL Mixed Malvern 1

The Hamilton Handicap was Steve's second tournament, and there were a lot of very close games, clearly testament to some good handicapping by Steve ! A good turnout, with finally 20 members playing, who all seemed to be enjoying the competition. Eventual winners were Matt, with Thomas as runner-up in one group, and Vee winning the other group, with Mike as runner-up.

Another enjoyable Christmas Tournament, and Steve's first, to end the first half of our season. The final scores were all very close but the winner of Group 1 was Matt, runners-up Gary and Janet. Their scores couldn't be separated, so somehow they will have to share the chocolate prize ! The winner of Group 2 was Peter, and Sophie was the runner-up. Congragtulations to all the players. Happy Christmas and New Year, and see you all back again on the 5th January.

We duly held our much anticipated milestone 75th Anniversary Party yesterday, which was very well supported by our members and their families. Good food, good weather and a good venue - what more could we ask for ? Oh yes, the raffle - all our members were incredibly generous, so thank you all.

20 players competed in our Hamilton Handicap Tournament to mark the end of another season. Andy's handicapping was, as usual, pretty good (although there were, of course, the usual moans and groans), but there were a lot of very close games. The tournament was run in two groups, and the winner of Group A was Ling, runner-up Guy 2, and the winner of Group B was Lorraine, runner up Steve P.

Welcome to our new season of badminton, which starts on Monday 2nd September. We shall be playing on Mondays and Fridays, 7.30 to 9.30 and look forward to seeing you all. Visitors very welcome.

Hamilton Handicap Tournament 🏸
Andy L masterminded yet another successful tournament. This season's Hamilton Handicap Tournament was won by Simon with a score of 164 from a possible 167. Thomas was runner up with 162 points. The Ladies winner was Ling with 163 points and Gina runner up with 162 points.

Andy masterminded yet another successful and enjoyable tournament 🏸(with assistance on the night from a glamorous assistant) ! There were a lot of close games and it was good to see a lot of members entering - there was even a waiting list. Sophie (for some reason) took an instant dislike to the Christmas shuttles used in the first round. The eventual winners were Matt, with Andy K as runner up in one group, and Bela was the winner in the second group with Gwen as runner-up. Matt thought his handicap was high - wait until the next tournament Matt ! 🎄
