What would happen if..... you stopped trying to do everything yourself?
When you start a business, you naturally become chief cook and bottle washer.
You sell.
You market.
You do the admin.
You answer the emails.
You sort the website.
You do the accounts.
You post on social media.
You solve every little problem.
And somewhere along the way, doing everything yourself can become a habit.
We tell ourselves:
"It's quicker if I just do it."
"Nobody will do it quite like me."
"I can't justify paying someone else."
"I'll delegate when the business gets bigger."
But here's the interesting bit...
Could doing everything yourself actually be the very thing that's stopping the business getting bigger?
Because every hour you spend doing something
that somebody,
or something else
could do is an hour you're not spending on the things that really need you.
Your ideas.
Your expertise.
Your customers.
Your relationships.
Your business development.
And getting help doesn't necessarily mean employing someone full-time.
It might be outsourcing a few hours, using technology, automating a task or simply accepting that you don't have to be the expert at everything.
So today's thought isn't
"What should I delegate?"
It's simply...
๐ญ If you stopped trying to do everything yourself, what could you finally make time for?
