One of they keys to results is first you must enjoy it!

When I first met chenzo about 2 months ago the first thing he said to me was “I have never trained and I’m never going to” I was I’m not asking you to bro just saying hi lol.

Boy did that change, week later bro can we do a session? Now he trains 6 days per week, has lost 11kg, and added some serious lean muscle.

Now he wouldn’t know what to do without it, his mind is better, his health is better, he is happier, it has done wonders for him. It is a pleasure to coach you.

Are you training today?

Your muscles grow in two distinct ways.

Grab a clump of your hair..(will make sense in a sec trust)

That clump of hair represents your muscle fibres within a given muscle and each strand of hair being a fibre.

**Heavy weight in a rep range of 3-7 grows the actual fibres themselves.
**Moderate weight in a rep range of 8-15+ grows the space in between each fibre.

Pick an exercise, ideally a big movement like a squat or bench press, perform 4 sets of 4-6 reps with a heavy weight, then reduce the weight and perform 3 sets of 10-12 reps.

By doing this you ensure you are working your muscles in both ways.

This is how we train the big movements such as squats, bench, deadlift, shoulder press, rows, weighted Bodyweight movements. Then you can attack some isolation movements after.

This all applies to both men and women the only difference being if you are female just reduce the rest periods as you generally recover quicker.

Side note if you are using machines always keep the reps higher, always above 8 as the tension is different but that’s for another post.

We have been working tirelessly in order to secure a venue for Boot Camp to cater for the winter months coming!
