After an outstanding debut season, Bethan deservedly picked up both our Manager’s Player of the Season and Most Versatile Player awards – a testament to the impact she made all over the pitch.

A true midfield maestro, Bethan controls the game with composure, intelligence and quality. Her tough tackling, technical ability and willingness to do whatever the team needs make her an invaluable part of the squad.

We’re excited to see what Bethan can achieve in Green and White this season💚

We’re delighted to confirm that Jess Blake is back for her second season with Sherfield Women! 🙌

Last season was a frustrating one for Jess, with injuries limiting her game time, but her commitment and determination never wavered. Despite the setbacks, she continued to work hard and support the team throughout the season.

Jess has come a long way since her very first training session and the improvement she’s shown has been incredible. Her confidence, ability, and understanding of the game have grown massively, and we’re excited to see that progress continue this season.

Here’s hoping for an injury-free campaign and plenty of opportunities for Jess to showcase just how far she’s come. 💪⚽

We’re delighted to announce that Loz Garner is returning to Sherfield Women for her second season with the club!

Loz was a huge part of the squad last season, showing her commitment and determination throughout the campaign. After suffering an injury, she worked hard to get herself back on the pitch and continued to be an important presence within the team.

A commanding figure at the back, Loz brings leadership, experience, and a strong voice that helps organise and motivate those around her. Her influence both on and off the pitch makes her a valuable member of the squad.

This season, Loz will also be taking on the role of Player/Manager, helping to lead the team into an exciting new chapter.

We’re delighted to confirm that Lisi Bowers will be staying with Sherfield English Women for the 2026/27 season!

As Lisi enters her 10th season in women’s football, she continues to be a huge asset both on and off the pitch. With her great left foot, she’s always capable of delivering a dangerous ball into the box and loves nothing more than finishing off a well-worked cross herself.

This season Lisi is also taking on the important roles of Club Secretary and Social Media, helping drive the club forward behind the scenes as well as on matchdays. She will be continuing her role of Men’s first team Physio as well.

A committed player, dedicated volunteer, and a key part of the Sherfield family – we’re delighted to have her back for another season💚

đź“Ł NEW MANAGEMENT ANNOUNCEMENT đź“Ł

Sherfield FC Women are delighted to announce our new management team for the upcoming season.

Taking charge this season is Will Barnett, who many will already know as the first team goalkeeper. Will has stepped up to lead the ladies side and brings great passion, commitment and a fresh approach heading into the new campaign.

Alongside him will be player/coach Loz Garner, who featured for the ladies team last season. Loz’s experience within the squad and understanding of the team will be a huge asset both on and off the pitch.

We’re excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to see the team continue to grow under their leadership.
