Another competition weekend for our National Trampoline & DMT squad, this time we were at the second and final qualifier for the British Finals👏🏽 Unfortunately a few of our gymnasts had some falls in their routines meaning they didn’t place as well as they would have liked, however that is all part of the journey! 10 medals for the adult squad at the Adult British Championships 2026!🥇🥈🥉

Everyone arrived carrying their own challenges, from mental blocks, recovery from surgery, shoulder and back injuries, dodgy knees, nerves and self-doubt. Adult gymnastics isn’t about being perfect. It’s about turning up anyway. There were massive highs and some lows but the support from the adult gymnastics community was incredible throughout🥳 Teammates cheering from the sidelines, celebrating each other’s successes and picking each other up when things didn’t go quite to plan!!! A huge well done to everyone… fantastic results in some big categories🤸🏽‍♂️🌟

🥇🇬🇧SHE'S ONLY GONE AND DONE IT!!! GOLD FOR OLIVIA🇬🇧🥇

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Olivia has won 1st place at her very first international competition in Portugal representing Great Britain🏆

After qualifying in 2nd place, Olivia put on an outstanding performance in the final to take the top spot and bring home the gold. What an incredible achievement! This result makes her journey even more special. Olivia has faced a year full of challenges, but through determination and resilience, she has shown exactly what she's capable of. To see her standing at the top of the podium is something we couldn't be prouder of.

Everyone at Starlight is SO incredibly proud of you Olivia!!! You have represented both your club and your country with such dedication and professionalism, and this is a moment you'll never forget🇬🇧

A huge congratulations to Olivia who is currently in Portugal at her first international competition representing Great Britain🤸🏽‍♂️🇬🇧

Yesterday, Olivia delivered an incredible performance, finishing 2nd in the qualification round, and securing her place in this evening’s final🌟

This achievement is even more special after a year filled with challenges and setbacks. Olivia has shown incredible resilience and determination to overcome every obstacle, and seeing her thrive on the international stage is something we’re all so proud of🥹

SOUTHAMPTON SCHOOLS 2026!!! Our favourite competition of the year and this time was even more special because Starlight hosted it for the first time🌟 Lots of fun, laughter, cheering, and amazing performances🤸🏽‍♂️👏🏽 Our Starlight competitors did a fantastic job performing new routines and supporting their teammates! Countless trophies and medals was also pretty cool🏆 Huge thank you to our coaches, judges and volunteers who helped us run the event all day, it wouldn’t have been possible without you all!!!😁🥳
