🏏💗 WHAT A DAY! 💗🏏

What an incredible day we’ve had at our Women’s & Girls Cricket Festival! 🌟

The weather held out, the cricket was fantastic, and most importantly, everyone had an absolute ball! 🙌

We welcomed 6 women’s teams and 2 Girls Dynamos teams for a brilliant day of cricket, fun, friendship and community. It was amazing to see so many women and girls enjoying the game and supporting each other on and off the pitch. 🏏✨

And it wasn’t just the cricket that was a hit! 😍

🎟️ Our raffle went down a storm — thank you so much to everyone who donated, bought tickets and supported it.

🍰 The cake sale was a huge success — and there were certainly plenty of happy customers! 😋

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who played, supported, volunteered, baked, donated prizes, helped organise, scored, umpired and generally got stuck in to make today so special. ❤️

It really was a fantastic day for everyone, and we’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year!

Women’s & girls’ cricket is thriving — and today was a brilliant example of why! 🏏💪💗

For the final time this season, the team news is in.

Can we beat the weather?

The 1st Team welcome back Alec Davidson Soler from international duty for a local derby at home to Langley Manor.

The 2nd Team give Theo Romer a thoroughly well deserved debut following his excellent form for the 3rd team for another Derby away at East Tytherley.

The 3rd Team name a strong side hosting Fair Oak.

The 4th Team travel to Breamore.

The 2nd to last weekend results roundup:

The 1st team secured back to back victories with an excellent performance away to Basingstoke with strong all-round performances from Harry Tulk and James Trodd backed up by Charlie King with the bat and Rob Newman with the ball.

The 2nd team had a frustrating afternoon at home to South Wi******er.

The 3rd team can take a lot of positives from a resilient performance in defeat to Compton & Chandlers Ford. Jack Wills with an excellent 74 and Theo Romer finishing agonisingly short of a first century with 95 not out the standouts.

The 4th team put up a strong effort but fell short against Godshill.

Just 1 more week of the season left to go 🙁

Bank Holiday Sunday Fun Day!

This Sunday sees our annual club day take place, this year featuring the addition of our Women's Ravens who take on a mixed U9's & U11's team in the morning, before a 4 team Inter Club T10 Competition in the afternoon. Music throughout the day, ice cream van, BBQ and a raffle after the T10 final.

Now that's more like it! Some positive results this weekend.

Joe Vaughan carried his bat and the 1st team to a massive win against Totton & Eling.

THE 4th TEAM WON A GAME!!!!! After a strong performance in the field by a youthful bowling attack it was the wise head of Martin Nicholson with his 110* aided by Rory Pearl's 43* that saw the 4th team home for their first win of the season.

The 2nd team gave it there all but fell short against Trojans.

The 3rd XI suffered a heavy defeat.

Just two weeks left of the season, but there's still plenty to play for given the tight nature of the leagues.
