Here is the latest list of riders into the next Goodwood Motor Circuit Time Trial on Wednesday 24th June. we get a good mix of riders & Wednesday's edition we are having the VTTA Southern Age Group Championship with awards in every age group & jerseys for the overall winners. It also one of the best attended time trial for under 16's with 25 entered so far aged between 8yrs to 15yrs. Entries close Saturday evening.

One of the most under-rated courses, not just in the South but in the country is open for entry until this Sunday 21st June. Poole Wheelers are promoting the Gary Dighton Memorial 10-mile time Trial on the Upton By-Pass (almost flat) but starts on "Old Wareham Road", from there it is all downhill to the Upton Bypass & it is worth noting you don't have to go up to finish. This also BBAR counting event, it could be the one you need.

The 2nd Goodwood Open Time trial is on Wednesday (27th) & we are in for another exciting night. Below is the entries received so far, there is still a bit of time to enter & compete on a pot-hole free road & join many others. Of course not everyone enjoys the Iconic Circuit, they miss the queuing for the one toilet cubicle seen at many other events 🤣

Entries closing date has been extended to Sunday the 24th May for the Andover Wheelers Hardriders event on the 31st May. As it is a "National Championship Series" there is an earlier closing date. However, this is a great opportunity for local riders to ride a National event & test yourself against championship contenders. This course hasn't been used since 2019 & is an ideal "Road Bike" course. The pictures taken in February 2018 hopefully give you a flavour of what is in store, this ain't dual carriageway course !!!

We have an exciting event coming up at the end of May (31st). The Andover Hardriders Event which use to run at the end of February is back, but at the end of May & is the penultimate event of the CTT National Classic Circuit Series. It is a "Road Bike Only" event & this is a circuit that is really suited to this kind of an event. A few piccs from past events to give you a flavour. There are medals to be won for age groups as well.

A few quality pictures from Kevin Cornish at todays Southdown Velo's Fontwell Gallop (10-mile tt). Henry Austin was first overall with a 20:06 & Nik Allen was fastest on a Road Bike in 21:29. The next event on the P901/10 will be on the 16th August again run by Shaun Smart & no doubt Kevin will be taking super snaps.

Just an update on the entry list for Saturday's Open Ten-Mile Time Trial on the Fontwell course along the A27 (P901/10). This event closes for entries on Tuesday 5th May. Today is a Bank Holiday Monday, so instead of patiently waiting for "The Guns of Navarone" to come on the telly, why not enter today.

That shallot, it was a splendid afternoon on the "old"A3 (The Portsmouth Road) for the only open time trial to be held on a Saturday afternoon this year (there could be another). This was Petersfield Triathlon clubs first first open tt promotion, they found it a easier than organising a Triathlon with the swimming stage, as there were no reported cases of dandruff 😂We look forward to more of their events.
