On Friday@ Tolpuddle Lakes I had the pleasure of teaching 3 brothers fly fishing/fly casting.
After an hour all three could cast a line with niceish loops despite the wind
All of the 3 brothers explored the 4 lakes here and truly enjoyed themselves catching and releasing trout on dries and nymphs.

I just wanna take a pause and thank everyone who has came for a fly casting/fishing with me this past year.
I love to pass on my skills and knowledge as a fly casting instructor.
It has been a pleasure to teach ,instruct, coach whatever you like to call it all you lovely people who took the plunge and decided to take up this wonderful passion of ours.
On Sunday I had the pleasure of teaching a young man from NZ who wished to brush up on his fly casting skills.
Needlessly to say it wasn't too long before Andrew was performing some beautiful casts and being rewarded for his efforts.
If anybody wishes to have a go just call me up.
Myself and Holbury lakes both supply lesson vouchers if you wish to treat your loved ones as a gift they will not regret.
Btw.Next trout season I will be the sole fishing guide for Wessex Chalkstreams.
Look them up too👍

Had the pleasure of guiding a young American couple Grayling fishing on a local chalkstream.
Although both are members of the Spruce Creek Rod & Gun club in Pennsylvania,one of whom is closely related to a certain Joe Humpfries .
A tough day because the wind but we got the job done.
Btw.They had never fished on a chalkstream and never caught a Grayling.
Both boxes ticked.👍

Really looking forward to another chapter in my flyfishing /guiding career.
As well as the Flyfishing instruction business still going strong@Holbury Lakes.
Now I have been asked by Wessex Flyfishing to step into the shoes of my good friend Ian Pople(decided to call it a day),and my dear friend the great Tony King who sadly passed a few years ago,to be their flyfishing river guide and Instructor.
Already the guiding has started for Grayling on the Frome👍
And instruction @ Tolpuddle lakes.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of teaching at Holbury Lakes two friends who happened both to be surgeons.
Mixed the lesson up a bit by going through the course notes first before even lifting a fly rod.
Both took to the fly casting and the fishing like a duct to water👍

Another enjoyable day of introducing another newbie to the ins and outs of flyfishing.
Ryan picked up the casting side pretty quickly
Being a Navy diver learning to tie knots was like a bus man's holiday.
However because of bright weather and the Easterly wind the trout were a tad elusive.Never mind there is always a next time.
