The Senior Section invites individuals, or teams of four who meet the entry criteria to join what promises to be a fantastic day of golf on Thursday August 27th 2026 (you don't need to be a member of Wellow GC to enter!). Looking for a flexible, hands-on role in a busy kitchen? We’re after a cook or chef to jump in and help during our peak times — that means some weekends and the odd weekday (daytime and/or evenings).

No need to stress if you’re still building experience (or haven't worked in that role/environment for some time) — full training will be provided. We just want someone reliable, quick on their feet, and happy to get stuck in when things get busy.

We’re incredibly proud to share that Wellow Golf Club has been nominated as one of just three golf clubs in the country in the category “Respect in Golf” at the upcoming England Golf Awards this March.

This nomination is a fantastic recognition of the club, Captains and working Party's commitment to creating a more welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone. A key part of this has been the work on our new constitution, aimed at ensuring greater equality across the club, particularly in terms of gender and inclusion.

Congratulations to everyone involved — and thank you to all our members and supporters for being part of this journey.
