Bad hair day again !!
Had a little walk down the lane with Eddie, who was very very good, we stopped and said hello to a couple who were sitting in their car in the shade, luckily Eddie didn’t try and get in !!
His winter coat is hanging on still, hopefully by the next show it will be out.

Eddie attended his first show as a yearling last week.
Sadly we missed the youngstock class due to to him not wanting to load.
Eventually we made it and went in the adult class nfc.
He was such a good boy and took it all in his stride and wasn’t fazed by anything.
The judge said he was well put together for his age, which was nice.
So looking forward to getting to more shows with him during the year.

Very late with updates.
Both girls had birthdays in April.
Gracie’s trip to the beach was probably a little more exciting than Alice’s day !!
Grace is now 13 and waiting her turn to be picked for a race.
Alice is 18 and recovering from a bout of asthma.

Those who know Gracie will understand what an amazing achievement this is. She’s always been a little noise sensitive but now she’s happy with her rider and working well she has improved tremendously. Such a good pony and lovely gentle confident rider.

Carmaco Amazing Grace, Gracie, is certainly amazing.
Her little jockey is holding his Shetland Pony Grand National racing license.

Sad I wasn’t there to see them but I am so so proud.
They’ve only been together since 1st March and Gracie weaned Eddie in November last year.

I can not thank Jade enough for all the care and love she has given Gracie.

I’m so looking forward to the next part of their journey.

Eddie had his 3rd walk out of the field today, he’s getting much more confident and a little bit cheeky!!

I can’t put into words how proud I am of Gracie and her jockey, in less than a month, not only has he taught her to canter with a rider, something she had never done before, he has also taught her how to jump little racing hurdles.
It melts my heart seeing how much enjoyment they are getting and so much fun.
I can’t thank Jade enough for the wonderful care she and the family are giving Gracie ❤️
