Following on from the success of the under 7’s and under 9’s last weekend, the under 8’s also had a great time at the Ottery tournament on Sunday. With some fantastic football played by all, they managed to come third overall which just shows how hard they have worked and improved this season. Well done under 8’s! 🚀⚽️

Rockbeare U9’s attended today’s tournament at Ottery and had a great first tournament of the summer. Comets played amazingly as a team, with confidence really building as the day went on. Rockets made the final and only lost out to penalties at the very end of the day, but showed great character. Fantastic group of boys, coaches and parents and thank you to our hosts Ottery! ❤️⚽️🚀☄️

Today our U7s travelled to the Ottery tournament where they eventually lifted the trophy.

The boys played tremendously well and we couldn’t be prouder of their teamwork, work rate and hard work. Having lost to our final opponents in the group games, they put that behind them to grind out a result in the final.

Congratulations boys, you fully deserved it after all your hard work 🚀🚀🎉🎉

Absolutely brilliant – what a turnaround for our under 10s! 🙌⚽

From the disappointment of last week straight into lifting the trophy today… that says so much about the character of the team.

Finishing 2nd in the group, grinding out a 1–0 semi-final, and holding their nerve in another tight final – that’s proper football and real resilience from the boys.

You can just picture the atmosphere too – our parents, siblings and the locals getting behind them, the tension in that final, and then that winning goal… moments they’ll remember for years.

Even more than the result, what a fantastic group of kids, and that’s what really makes it special. After all those near misses, they’ve absolutely earned their day.

Huge congratulations to the whole team (and coaches and supporters too!) – Rockbeare bringing the trophy home!

Our under 10's first tournament of the year was a little bit of a bitter sweet one!

Firstly a huge, thank you to Seaton Town FC for hosting and running a fantastic day!

The boys were brilliant from start to finish, pulling together and performing how we know they can!

Both coaches and parents are so proud of how the team worked together and showed amazing team spirit and played some unbelievable football at times!

To be beaten in the final was hard to take but the boys were super positive about how they got on and while we didn't get across the line this time it's getting closer!

Congratulations to Axminster Tigers who were the tournament winners!

Rockbeare Rockets U10 vs U11 – Friendly Fixture

Last Saturday's friendly match saw the U10s come away with a 4–0 win over their older team-mates, but the game was much tighter than the scoreline shows.
Both teams put in huge effort, played some great football, and kept the energy high from start to finish.
What made it even better was the spirit between the squads — loads of encouragement, smiles, and a great chance for the players to socialise and build connections across age groups. Exactly what the Rockets are all about!
A massive well done to both teams for putting on such a positive display. A brilliant advert for Rockbeare Rockets as a club! 🚀✨

Hello everyone just a little update for you. We were delighted to tell Oliver yesterday that we managed to get him tickets to go and see the exter city v mancity match on Saturday. Exeter City very kindly managed to get him and his family seats as far to the front as they could which is amazing .we have organised a mini bus and a hotel for Oliver to spend the night in before going to see the match this would’ve not been possible without all your help and support .

Our friendly fancy dress match against Central is still waiting to be played unfortunately we had to cancel because of the bad weather but will rearrange with them soon.
We would like to thank you all once again for your continued support the next steps are trying to book Oliver and his family that special holiday to make lots more special memories

Thank you to everybody for your donations so far. we’ve managed to hit just over 4K .
Oliver was lucky enough last night to meet the under 13s central Exeter fc coach who very kindly donated to Oliver £160 from a bonus ball that was raised at the thirsty farmer pub also the under 13s central Team children and parents club together to give him £125 ⚽️ .
They have also offered Rockbeare rockets 🚀 a friendly fancy dress match on the 3rd of January and are doing some sponsorships to help with raising funds. What an amazing team you are central. Thank you for all your support. We look forward to playing you on the 3rd of January
