What a wonderful turnout we had yesterday from visiting clubs for Les Smith’s celebration of his MBA Presidents day. Weather was perfect and the company was exceptional so what more could you ask from a day of bowls.

A lovely turn out last night at the club to watch the RACS knock out final between Winget and Woodlands. It was a close run match and thankfully the weather stayed kind to us.
Woodlands won the match with Winget the runner ups.
Chris Payne (RACS president) was there to present the winners cup to Eileen the Captain of Woodland and the runners up cup to Mark the Captain of Winget.

Cliffe Bowls Club celebrated 75 years of bowling at the APCM Sports Ground in Cliffe. Members celebrated with a Captain's Team against President's Team match, including Pimms breaks and a meal after.
If you would like to give bowls a try, please join us on Tuesdays and Thursday mornings 10am to 12pm or Fridays from 6pm.

A brilliant day today at Cliffe Bowls Club with Cliffe BC playing Borstal BC in the Top Ten competition. Sadly we came second but we wish Borstal good luck in their next round.

The Club opens on Tuesday 21st April, for the 2026 outdoor season, with a 'roll up' session from 10am open to all.
Just turn up, with some flat shoes and we will support you with equipment, training and a warm welcome.

Our 2026 season starts on Tuesday 21 April with our first 'roll up' at from 10am until 12 noon and continues until the end of September.
We give a very warm welcome to anyone wishing to have a try at a new sport or transfer from another bowls club. All you need are flat shoes - we can provide equipment, guidance and support. Initial roll up sessions are free and, if you like it, annual membership is £70, which includes a free club shirt and access to our very cheap bar!
