CLUB COMES TOGETHER TO CELEBRATE 2026
The Watermans Arms in Wouldham played host to an end of season get together for the maroon and gold army last night.

A great chance to catch up with friends, relax, enjoy an evening together and reflect on whats been an awesome year on the field for the club as a whole. Everything that makes High Halstow Cricket Club what it is.

Huge thanks to our hosts the Watermans Arms and for a brilliant buffet and also a big shout out to Jamie Maguire for organising the event. Top work Magsy !!!

3’S STATS FOR THE 2026 LEAGUE SEASON
Cricket is all about numbers – many an hour is spent by all those who play poring over the stats and on play cricket.

Our 3s were hugely successful this season, their first league campaign, and it ended in a well deserved promotion.

Congratulations to Sam Randall and all of his team. The number of youngsters, he and his senior lieutenants are helping to develop and bring through this vital pathway is one of the key elements for the future of the Club.

Please find below all the 3s stats for the year, with the bat, ball, in the field and as a team. Looking forward to 2027. Keep your eyes peeled for more 3s news soon.

WOW - HAVE A THINK ABOUT THIS !
3796 runs = 94,900 metres = 2.7 x the English Channel in 6 months.

Few realise, that in a small village cricket club, lies not only a beating heart for the community and its members, but a vital foundation for the sport through multi-generational commitment.

High Halstow Cricket Club has provided, over the past seven seasons of cricket, a safe haven for myself and my whole family to enjoy the positive and forward-thinking culture that the dedicated committee has instilled and continue to drive forward.

With this, comes expansion and new members and ever-increasing costs and plans, and as with any grassroots sporting club, it would benefit greatly from wider fundraising support. Not only to enhance what they have already strived for and make improvements, but more importantly to allow for continued, high quality results across all of their teams (men, women and juniors), and to provide the best possible facilities for members and the community.

The entire club and all of the teams within it have delivered some fantastic results throughout the 2026 season. The men's 1st XI have come out on top of Kent League Division 3 this season, with 18 games played and only 1 lost, and having scored an incredible total of 3796 runs during those 18 games played.

I will be raising funds for the whole club based off of their total number of runs scored in 2026 and, over winter, will be swimming 25 metres for every run scored.

I was a seasoned competitive swimmer in my younger years, but at 40, it will be a bit more of a challenge now! I could use all of the support I can get in helping HHCC and giving back. Any donation helps, no matter how big or small!

I will be posting weekly updates, and you'll have the opportunity to make a donation up until 31st May 2027.
