Some may know one method of qi cultivation, some may know more. PART 1

Can u share - What method do you use?

Over centuries and in various location, many methods have been used.

Some progression often occurred over time and with study or practice.

BELOW ARE 3 of 15 METHODS from a College course in China. Its a bit "dry" but worth sharing.

DO YOU USE any or all 3 of THESE?

Master's Teaching
Methods of Dantian Internal Qi Cultivation

1. Silent Illumination Method:
Close your mouth and eyes lightly, keep your head and body straight, retract your lower jaw slightly, hold your chest in and sink your abdomen, put your nose to your navel, and silently move the innate light in your brain, focusing it on the empty area of Dantian. Let it shine brightly on this place where Niu Mian is forever. Your eyes are like the light of the sun and the moon, with the power to seize the creation of heaven and earth. Accumulate spirit to generate energy, accumulate energy to generate essence, transform essence into energy, transform energy into spirit, and return spirit to emptiness. Essence, energy, and spirit are restrained and unified, achieving "all thoughts are silent, and one spirit is awakened". The innate true energy is drawn from the void, and the true yang in Dantian naturally emerges.

2. Listening to the breath:
After entering into a state of tranquility, listen to the sound of your own breathing. Just feel the breath sinking down and returning to the root. As for the speed, thickness, depth, etc. of your breathing, just let it be natural. At the beginning, you can hear your own heartbeat, and then gradually reach the point of listening to space and the universe. Use your ears to listen to the breath you breathe in your nose. This is the first step of Kung Fu, "Listen with your body". All breathing systems should be1
For a normal person, there will be no sound from the nose, but you can feel the in and out of the breath. This is the second step of skill, "listening with the heart". After the heart and breath become one, you must go further to "listen to the breath with breath". In fact, it means focusing on listening and achieving "listening to nature". The actual entry is "listening stops at the body, and the heart stops at the symbol". At this time, the heart, hearing, breath, form, and perception are all forgotten. You have entered into a state of emptiness and chaos, reaching a state of tranquility, nothingness, trance, and obscurity. The true meaning and true qi are combined and transformed. This is the qi of Dantian.

3 Fetal breathing method:
After sitting cross-legged, relax and calm down, concentrate on Dantian, when exhaling, imagine that the air is slowly expanding from the center of Dantian, and at the same time, the abdominal wall slightly stretches outward, with a slight sense of expansion. When inhaling, imagine that the air is sucked from Dantian to Mingmen, and at the same time, the abdominal wall slightly retracts inward. Keep your mind and breathing consistent, so that there is no sense of stagnation or force in breathing, and gradually adjust your breathing to be deep, long, continuous, fine, even, quiet, and steady. In this way, the exhalation is slight, and the inhalation is continuous, gradually inhaling and becoming softer, gradually harmonizing, and gradually becoming steady, until you close your mouth and hold your nose, and it is as if there is no breath, and breathe in front of the mirror.

The qi leaves no trace of moisture, a feather near the nose does not move even slightly, the qi gathers in the dantian and there is a feeling of fullness and vastness. Those who achieve great and true concentration are like turtles and snakes hibernating, which is greatly beneficial for curing diseases and improving health.
