So last week we did a thing!

In 10 days

I swam 100 miles

I spent 79 hours, 24 minutes and 40 seconds in the water

That moment when you finish the last length of 6440 lengths. Can’t really describe the relief in that moment it’s was overwhelming and did bring tears to my eyes. Think you can see from the other pictures the relief and joy of finishing the 100 mile swim.

The amount of generosity shown with money donated has been truly incredible and money is still coming in! Thank you so much to everyone who’s donated.

DAY 10 AND 100 MILES DONE ✅

That’s it completed, 100 miles over 10 days for

I’m struggling right now to put into words what finishing this means to me and how to thank everyone. So I’ll do another post to do it tomorrow properly once I’ve had time to reflect.

But for now I just want say thank you so much because with everyone’s help I’ve managed to raise over £2000! Your support has been incredible.

WE’RE ALMOST THERE GUYS!

Day 9 is done and the pm swim was my hardest to date. 90 miles in and now my body is starting to really hate the chlorine (I’m assuming) resulting in ridiculous itchyness but we still managed to get it done with some support from the staff at the centre.

Can’t quite believe that tomorrow will be my final day and I’ll have swam 100 miles in 10 days, it’s come round so quickly.

We’ve now managed to raise over £1800! For Which is truly incredible thank you so much to everyone who’s donated it’s truly kept me going over the last 9 days and will hopefully power me through tomorrow.

2 DAYS THATS ALL THATS LEFT!

I can’t quite believe how quickly we’ve got to this point with day 8 done ✅ I’ve now swam 80 miles! 🧜‍♂️

We’ve now reached over £1700! Which is incredibly amazing, thank you so much to everyone for your generosity. I’ve still got a couple more days to get through and I’d still love to raise even more so anything you can give no matter how small would be massively appreciated.

Yes we’re really already done with day 7 and now 70 miles deep into my 100 mile swim.

With today’s donations we’ve managed to smash through £1500! I can barely believe it really I’m blown away by how generous people have been.

JUST 1 DAY TO GO!!!!

This is a bit of a longer one on why I chose to raise money for hopefully it wasn’t too rambly

3 DAY AWAY!!!!!!!!

Only 3 days to go now till my 100 miles in 10 days swim for and so far we’ve managed to raise an incredible £800 thank you so much you guys are amazing!

Today was my last time being in the water before my challenge starts on Wednesday so it felt only right that I did what I did the very first time I got in the water when I thought about doing this challenge and swam 65 lengths. Only a fraction of what I’ll be doing over the 10 days. But big things come from small beginnings.

It’s feels strangely relaxing and stressful at the same time that the prep time in the pool is now officially done and it’s almost time to begin. But I can’t wait to put all of your support into this swim and hopefully earn every penny that everyone’s donated.
