Bujinkan Senkidojo explores the essence of unique techniques and knowledge from Samurai & Ninja schools of Japan. These renowned techniques were secretly inherited and collected through the various lineages of Masters for over 1000 years. These skills are contained in the 9 traditional schools that form the Bujinkan System. There will always be bigger and stronger people out there which techniques
using brute force will have no effect, with this in mind we use Martial Arts skills, body mechanics and strategies to survive and even subdue the largest of attackers. The Bury branch of Bujinkan Senki Dojo is based at Jericho Methodist Church, Elbut lane, Bury. The classes cover Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu and are be run by Shidoshi Gavin Chadwick. Gavin is qualified to deliver Physical Intervention and Conflict management and has studied a number of sport martial arts including boxing, thai boxing and karate before finding a martial art that takes its spirit from bushido (warrior way). Discovering Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu he studied the arts covered in the nine schools from his instructor David Castan. Gavin has travelled to numerous countries including Japan to learn the arts from Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi and a number of senior instructors.
