🏉 RE-SIGNING | NUALA COLLINS

Rugby has been part of Nuala’s life from a young age. Coming from a big rugby family, she’s grown up surrounded by the game, representing Lancashire and also playing for Rochdale Hornets.

Now approaching three years with the Valkyries, Nuala has become a huge part of the team. A flanker/scrum-half who will quite literally play anywhere we tell her to! 😂

Known for being one of our best tacklers and a real handful at the breakdown, Nuala brings plenty of energy, physicality and commitment wherever she plays. 💥

And then there are the nicknames…👀

“Nuala. Aka Nu Nu, Noodles, Toodles, Poodles, Shnoodles… plus several others. In fact, she has more nicknames than positions she has played for the team.

Granddaughter of the legendary Terry Collins, Nuala is known for her tough tackling and ability at the breakdown. She became Rochdale’s youngest ever captain at just 18.”

Nearly three years in maroon, and we’re delighted there’s plenty more to come.
