Yesterday was the day our u15s blues coaches tackled the 20+ mile walk around Lake Ullswater in the Lake District, raising money for local children's cancer charity, Candlelighters.

Craig and Emma walked in memory of local young footballer, Ella Lynch, and despite the walk being tough at times, the team kept going, with the knowledge that this is nothing compared to the battle the children Candlelighters support face every single day.

🩷 Candlelighters Charity Walk in memory of Ella Lynch 🩷

On Saturday 25 July, our U15s blues coaches will be walking the Ullswater Way to raise money for local children's cancer charity, Candlelighters.

The Ullswater Way is a 20-22 mile walk around Lake Ullswater, Lake District and Craig and Emma will be walking in memory of local footballer, Ella Lynch, who sadly passed away earlier this year.

Tonight our u15s Blues coaches headed over to Wrenthorpe Park to run a special session for 25th Wakefield Beavers... it's been a while since we've done Ice Monsters and Sharks and Fishes!

It was great to see so many kids running around and having fun, and some pushing themselves out of their comfort zone!

Feedback was great, and we hope this session may inspire some to take their first steps into grassroots football! 💙❤️

Another busy and successful weekend in the galas for the girls!

Our u8s were crowned winners of the Champions League at the Castleford Town gala.

After experiencing semi final losses in the Garforth Gala on Saturday, our u12 reds went on to win the Shelf gala yesterday.

Our u9 reds were undefeated at the Garforth gala.

Our u10 reds were invited over to the Sheffield United Boys Academy tournament, getting kocked out in the quarter finals by the oversll winners.

And our u9 blues enjoyed their first gala as a team, ending with the coaches getting "splatted!" 💦
