Result

The first team travelled up to Barley Lane to face tackeway Wednesday evening. Despite scoring two goals we fell short against a very strong tackleaway side.

You could tell this game was an end of season game but unfortunately we couldn’t take any points home. But credit to the boys that made it. They all put a decent shift in. George Barrow scoring a few good goals, Liam Maclean putting in a MOTM performance.

That’s that for the season. Mixed emotions but time to rest up, recharge those batteries and go again in July.

Full Time Result

Unfortunately another defeat on the road to Mountfield.

We had plenty of opportunities but it just wasn’t our day again.

We started off brightly and looked to keep up pressure on the back line but we fell 1-0 down after a pass back went under Nicks leg and into an empty net. Didn’t deserve that but it’s football. We got ourselves back in it after a few minutes. Dave Ramos coming up with a lovely strike. We just couldn’t get back into it from them and Mountfield scored a fine goal to go into half time with the lead.

Second half we see a lot of the ball but a third for Mountfield killed us off.

A few good performances from the younger lads and captain Owen Palmer taking this weeks MOTM.

One more game left in the league in a few weeks time against Tackleway Res
