We swam for 24 hours… 🏊🏻

Over the weekend myself, Jacob, Gabby, Emily, Deborah & Lisa swam in relay for 24 hours to raise money for a charity called Level Water who provide funding for disability swimming lessons.

We’ve raised £1,174 as a team and the whole event has currently raised £33,300.

We camped, had a laugh, swam through the night, watched the stars, got very cold, had disrupted sleep and questioned our life choices - BUT we did it!

WE’RE BACK! 💦

Our swimming lessons start back from today and we’re so excited to welcome our swimmers back to the pool! 🥰

Whether you’re returning after the summer break or joining us for the very first time, we can’t wait to see you.

And if you haven’t booked yet – don’t worry, you haven’t missed out!

You can join Splash at any point, so there’s no need to wait for the next block of lessons to begin.

What an amazing achievement! 🙌🏻

‘A’ achieved her first award with us in 2021 and has progressed through all 28 awards in our pathway, completing her Amateur Lifeguard Gold award in July.

It’s been fantastic to see you turn into such a strong swimmer over the years and see these pictures side by side makes our job so worth it!

We are so proud of you 🥹 and we wish you all the best for the future 💙

REMINDER - today is our final day of lessons before our summer break ☀️

We return from Tuesday 1st September 🏊🏻

SUMMER BREAK ☀

Our final lessons are on Monday 3rd August. We then have a 4 week break between Tuesday 4th - Monday 31st August. Lessons re-start from Tuesday 1st September 🏊

Woodhouse families - there is a 6 week break from Monday 20th 🗓

Our swimming instructors teach from within the water until at least a Level 4 / 25 metre standard. This allows them to build better rapport, provide a safe and supportive environment and give in water technical tuition 🏊

Our advanced classes work towards both our Challenge Awards and Amateur Lifeguard Awards, which start to sequence skills learnt in lower levels, introduce lifesaving skills whilst also monitoring stroke technique 🏊

Long distance swims are also introduced, ranging from 300 metres to 1000m distances!
