Proof, if it’s still needed, that lifting stuff does not make you slow, heavy or less aero.

Right leg dominance, left leg sacrifice.
If there’s one thing we see multiple times in a week, it’s this.
It presents differently from rider to rider, but it amounts to: Putting more force through the right leg/foot and doing something funky* with the left.
Essentially, significantly asymmetrical movement.
Why? Well, that’s a small novel waiting to be written.
But next time you’re pedalling with some intent, think about what your legs and feet are doing, consider your seat contact, and whether it all feels the same left and right.

Posted • Well what a day! was an absolute whirlwind of mud, crashes, punctures and everything in between which led to a class day of racing where you didn’t know what was coming next. Asking anyone in a high viz how many laps of Owston were left was a very common occurrence. All in all it was probably the best day of racing in the UK so far. Muddy cicle classics are the new favourite.
