🚨VOLUNTEERS NEEDED 🚨

The Ripon Triathlon Festival returns on 11–12 July 2026, and we're looking for friendly volunteers to help make this fantastic community event happen.

Whether you're a triathlete, family member, local resident, or simply want to support a great event, we'd love to have you on the team. No experience is needed – just enthusiasm and a willingness to help.

Volunteering roles include:
✅ Course marshals
✅ Registration support
✅ Transition assistance
✅ General event support

The festival brings hundreds of competitors and spectators to Ripon each year, and it simply couldn't run without our amazing volunteers.

**Something for everyone at Ripon Triathlon Festival.**

Whether you’re taking on your **first triathlon** or looking for a great early-season race, there’s a distance and format to suit you.

🏊‍♂️ **Aquabike** – perfect for beginners or anyone with run injuries still wanting a fun race
🚴 **Sprint** – a classic triathlon distance and a favourite for many athletes
🏃 **Standard distance** – a bigger challenge for those ready to step up
👫 **Relay teams** – share the race with friends, family or clubmates
👧 **Junior races** – part of the Yorkshire Junior Series and the only race with an Open Water swim

Ripon has become known for its welcoming atmosphere, supportive crowds and well-organised racing — making it a great place to build confidence, challenge yourself, and enjoy a brilliant day of sport.

Ripon Race Course is in the Yorkshire Dales and provides the perfect location for the triathlon festival. The open water swim takes place in the lake by the race track, before heading out onto local undulating roads and finishing with a tow path run along the stunning Ripon waterways.

• Races:
◦ Juniors - For ages 8 to 18, races for all ages.
◦ Adults - Sunday 13th - Sprint (9am); Standard (11am)
