AceKidz starts again tomorrow morning. 11 - 12 at Ripon Grammar School. We feel that children should not specialise in a certain sport too early in their lives and so offer generic skills such as balance, agility, coordination, resilience, teamwork and communication through a variety of activities - gymnastics, athletics, netball, hockey, football and more besides. We also develop confidence and self worth. If your child is aged between 4 and 12 then this could be the activity club for them. It’s £4 per session and you just pay if you play so if you can’t make it for a couple of weeks for whatever reason, it’s not a waste of money. Why not give it a try. We are both qualified physical educationalists with over 40 years teaching experience between us. Helen and Kirsteen xx

Kirsteen and I are delighted to be able to announce that AceKidz will once again run this year. We have been stung with vat and public liability insurance for the coming year but can manage to run the sessions at £4 per child. We are both physical educationalists and love the fact that we can offer a multi skill based approach to activity at such a reasonable price. All games have generic skill requirements such as balance, co-ordination, agility, speed, leadership, reaction time and endurance. We offer all of these things for ages 4 - 12. Our first session back after the summer break is September 28th, 11 o'clock at Ripon Grammar School. If your child needs confidence instilling then this is definitely the sports club for them x

Fab morning outside at AceKidz today. We did SAQ (speed, agility and quickness) which is a non threatening way of developing generic games related skills. The kids did so well. This was followed with the little ones playing parachute games while the older ones played Kwik Cricket. Great fun. Well done to Ryan who won Ace Kid the day and took Billy home x

Hi everyone. As this Kidz Club developed from my own Netball Club I thought I’d share with you something that one of our players is doing out in Kenya in the hope that you can help us to help her achieve her dream. You will all remember Krazy Kirsty and Sexy Shane. Well these are Kirsty’s words. If you can bring anything that might be useful on Saturday or the following Saturday to the club that would be brilliant. Shoes, trainers, bedding, sanitary protection, toys, dolls, cars, even single nappies are fine. No toys with batteries as they are too expensive to replace. Please help.

It’s the AceKidz Christmas party today from 11am at Ripon Grammar School. Wear your Christmas jumper and get ready to play some Christmassy games and you never know - someone very special might just show up...🎅🏻
