The new opening times allow for more stalls more buyers.

Sellers from £5 per car
Buyers £1 per car.

All hard standing and catering on site.

Please note the new operating times!

Our next car bootsale at Matchams is this coming Saturday 20th June.

Gates open for both buyers & sellers from 11.30am (please do not arrive before this time)

All hard standing, as much space as you need.

Dogs welcome on leads.

Sellers:- cars £5, vans £10, Trailers £7, large Luton Vans from £15

Buyers £1 per car.

Statement regarding Matchams car boot sale

We are sad to report that the bootsale is struggling to survive

When we started the bootsale everyone said Wednesday would not work we needed to be a Saturday boot sale.

We are on hard standing
we are a Saturday boot sale
7am sellers
8am buyers

We have spent considerable monies radio advertisements and leaflets, signage, insurance etc… the list of costs go on….

We gave all of May for just £1 to sell and buyer entry £1

Today we open after re-needing the insurance mid week for another year and we had 2 turn up before 7am and left straight away, 3 sellers came after.

In Jan & Feb we had this bootsale after tiptoe the rain days to between 70&90 sellers and one event a huge amount of buyers arrived

Once other sales opened we were good enough when they were not on and then everyone bailed on us without even a thought of the costs incurred to put these events on.

Coming back in the winter when the fields are wet will not help the ongoing costs to be met.

You all wanted a hard standing b***y on Saturday and we gave it to you.

If everyone that came to sell over various weeks stood with us fully every week this bootsale would now be huge and at bursting point but like always the grass is always greener to jump ship.

If people really want this bootsale to work we need your support (and not just when it’s £1 or Free) we need to meet the bills atleast and with your help we can do it….

So it’s over to you guys we need your support in June & July to get this bootsale going both sellers and buyers.

So we go again next Saturday 20th June.
