🎉 Happy New Year everyone! 🎉

We’re back on court next Thursday, 8th January – who’s joining us? Make sure it’s in your diary!

We’d love to see as many familiar (and new!) faces as possible. If you haven’t played for a while, now’s the time to jump back in, shake off Christmas and kick start the new year.

We play every Thursday evening from 8–10pm at Ringwood Leisure Centre, enjoying friendly doubles matches across all five courts. While we’re not league standard, we do keep a good level of play.

What you need to know:
• Ages 18+
• A knowledge of badminton rules and scoring is required (no tuition provided/ no beginners)
• Bring a racket and suitable sports shoes
(rackets can be hired from reception if needed)

There’s no leisure centre membership required.
• £7 cash per session or £25 for 4 sessions

And we’re back for the Autumn term with 5 courts every Thursday 8-10pm! We look forward to seeing some farmilliar faces and hopefully some new ones too.

Come along to the Ringwood Leisure Centre, no membership required, £5 per session.

Experienced players, with knowledge of the game and able to score. No tuition is provided for beginners.

We are on tonight!! But it’s likely to be 3 courts again as the engineers have just turned up to assess the problem.

Ringwood Badminton Club is thrilled to announce their continued support for Melodie's charity walk this year.

This event holds profound significance for us as it commemorates the memory of the mother of one of our longstanding members. Tom Lomax has been an integral part of our Badminton Club for nearly a decade, and the Lomax family warmly invites any member or friends of the club to join in this year's charity event.

The walk will take place on Saturday, May 11th, with an anticipated 100 walkers enjoying the 16-mile route from the Alice Lisle Pub to the Royal Oak and back. If the walk is not for you not to worry, from 5pm at the Alice Lisle there will be live music and the much anticipated raffle and auction.

For any newcomers to the group, we play every Thursday night at Ringwood Leisure Centre from 8-10pm for friendly doubles matches on all 5 courts.

Whilst not playing to league standard we enjoy an evening of good doubles matches maintaining a relatively good standard of play. Minimum age of 18, knowledge of badminton rules and scoring is necessary (no tuition provided/ no beginners), bring along a good pair of shoes and a racket, if you don’t have your own racket you can hire at reception.

No membership at the centre is required, £7 cash per session or £25 for 4 sessions, first taster session is free.

**CLUB UPDATE**
Due to high popularity, from March 2024 we’ve managed to secure 5 courts every Thursday from 8pm-10pm. This means more game time for everyone 🏸 👏🏻 🏸 👏🏻

So, if you’re new to the group, haven’t played in while, or a regular player, we look forward to seeing you on the courts soon!

For any new visitors to the page we hope you take the plunge to come along and a try a fun evening of badminton with us🏸.

Ringwood Casuals Badminton Club meets every Thursday between 8-10pm at the Ringwood Health & Leisure Centre.

Whilst not playing to league standard we enjoy an evening of good matches, with a mix of abilities there’s always a variety of games!

Knowledge of the sport, a racket and good shoes are the only requirements.

No tuition facilities are available therefore, unfortunately our games are not suitable for beginners.

£5 per person (first session free).

Minimum age: 18 years old.
