The peaceful, non-competitive martial art for adults and children from age 13+ in Rickmansworth. Our Vision: The Path to Peaceful Strength. At Rickmansworth Aikido Club, our vision is simple: to create a dedicated space where individuals can explore the profound benefits of Aikido—not as a means of aggression, but as a practice for self-improvement, centeredness, and harmonious conflict resolution

. We believe that true strength comes from balance, courtesy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Our club is built upon the principles of mutual respect, cooperation, and safety. A Welcoming Environment: We pride ourselves on having a warm and inclusive dojo (training hall) atmosphere. We welcome adults and older teens, offering a supportive space to learn and grow. Non-Competitive Training: As a non-competitive martial art, ego is left at the door. Every practice is a cooperative learning session where senior students assist beginners, and everyone practices with the goal of mutual advancement. Safety First: Our curriculum emphasizes safe falling and rolling (Ukemi) from day one. This protective training allows students to practice dynamically and safely, building confidence without fear of injury.
