Do you know CPR? 👀
We recently completed our BLS training with
(Steve Furnell), trainer and founder of RAMC – Resuscitation, CPR & Medical Emergencies Training — and once again, it was outstanding. 👏
Each year, Steve brings not only up-to-date knowledge and new guidelines, but also real-life experience, practical insight and the kind of teaching that truly builds confidence.
You can tell when someone genuinely cares about what they do and Steve’s passion for educating people, improving emergency response and ultimately helping save lives shines through every training .
🚨 Do you know your CPR basics?
1️⃣ Check for a response
2️⃣ Call 999 / ask for help
3️⃣ Start chest compressions
4️⃣ Keep going until help arrives or someone can swap with you
A few key reminders from training:
✔️ CPR is physically demanding : use your whole body weight, not just your arms
✔️ Keep your shoulders directly over your hands, arms straight, lean in with your body weight
✔️ If possible, swap every 2 minutes to keep compressions effective
✔️ A great rhythm guide? Think of the beat to “Stayin’ Alive” 🎵
✔️ Hands -only CPR saves lives
✔️ Early CPR+ early defibrillation = best chance of survival ✔️ survival rate has gone up in the recent years- because of the continuous increase in CPR trainings ( scouts, in schools, baby groups, workplaces) These trainings are such an important reminder that learning CPR can genuinely save a life: and the more confident and prepared people feel, the better. 🫀✨
