🔥 WHAT A PERFORMANCE! 🔥
Every single player, take a bow! 👏👏
From the first whistle to the last, we bossed the game against a very good Pentwynmawr side. The intensity, effort and maturity shown by the boys was outstanding.
Our defence were absolutely superb, doing a fantastic job of protecting Tommy in goal. That said, Tommy deserves huge credit too — he stepped up brilliantly as a sweeper keeper, confidently coming off his line and clearing countless through balls before they could become a danger.
Pentwynmawr keeper deserved a lot of credit, he saved a lot of shots from Josh Ethan and Mason T, all were unlucky not to score.
But tonight wasn't about one player — every single player fronted up and revelled in the challenge. 💪
They worked for each other, battled for every ball and showed exactly what they are capable of when they play with belief and togetherness.
This is the standard. This is the attitude. This is Rhymney AFC U14s. ❤️💙
Proud doesn't even begin to cover it.

Tonight, before kick-off, we held a minute’s silence to pay our respects to Chris Llewellyn.
Chris, along with Gavin and Kory Llewellyn, has supported our venture over the last two seasons in so many ways. They have been there to encourage us, support the boys at Rhymney AFC Juniors.
Tonight was our small way of showing our respect for Chris and letting his family know that he, and the support he gave us, will always be remembered.
Our deepest thoughts are with Lee and Gavin and the entire Llewellyn family at this incredibly difficult time.
From everyone at Rhymney AFC Juniors — players, coaches, parents and supporters — thank you, Chris. It was a privilege to have your support, and you will never be forgotten. ❤️

Just a reminder to keep dogs off the playing field. We found more dog issues during a training session, this is lazy, dirty and disrespectful.

There are no excuses to leave it on the field when there is a bin available.

We’re delighted to welcome Ethan to Rhymney AFC Under 14’s

A massive welcome to our new signing Ethan an out-and-out goal scorer! Has a wand of a left foot and someone who, every time he’s played against us, has been an absolute handful! We’re delighted to have him on our side now rather than having to deal with him! With his eye for goal, ability to create chances, we’re sure he’ll be a huge addition to the squad. We can’t wait to see him in our colours!

Mason is a strong, fast and athletic player who brings plenty of power, energy and attacking ability to the team. He plays with a real free spirit, expressing himself on the pitch and always looking to make things happen.

With a prolific goal-scoring record, Mason knows exactly where the back of the net is and will add another exciting attacking threat to our squad. His pace, strength and eye for goal make him a fantastic addition to the team!
