Rhyl and Prestatyn Shotokan Karate Club Rhyl and Prestatyn Shotokan Karate Club specialise in traditional Shotokan Karate.

Rhyl and Prestatyn Shotokan Karate Club are a local club that’s been running for over 40 years. We are a friendly club with a mix of students from adults to children and we’ve had some great parent and child teams joining and training through their belts together. As well as our skilled team of instructors we also organise guest instructors and encourage training for fun as well as for competition. Current training times and locations are:
Tuesday - Prestatyn Leisure Centre 7pm - 8:30pm All Grades
Friday - Rhyl Leisure Centre 6pm - 7pm Junior Grades, 7pm - 8:30pm Senior Grades
Sunday - Rhyl Leisure Centre 5pm - 6pm All Grades

A great night tonight at the club, celebrations! it was sensei John’s birthday today many happy returns from all the students. Also a sad goodbye to Francis who is moving to London and the start of a brand new adventure. Francis has been a fantastic roll model in the club and an inspiration to all the students. He has represented his country at World and European level and had great success at national level as well. We will all be sad to see him go and we all wish him great success on the next chapter of his life. We look forward to you visiting us and hearing about your latest adventures. Stay in touch we will all miss you immensely.

Congratulations to Sensei Richard and Sensei Tegwen who were married yesterday at the beautiful Chateau Rhianfa on the island of Anglesey. Tegwen looked stunning and Richard brushed up quite well to. They were surrounded by family and friends from far and near and a fantastic day was had by all. Wishing you both every happiness for the future from all the students and instructors both past and present at the Rhyl and Prestatyn Shotokan Karate Club.
