15’s match report

A very enjoyable fixture to be apart of this morning.
Strong squad performance and we looked to play some very good football against strong opposition (Prestatyn Sports)
Couple of little errors were made, leading to their two goals, which will be gone over in training before our next fixture.
In the way we scored our goals, were both from the constant pressure that we applied and fantastic long range shooting accuracy 👏
Energy levels were high and enthusiasm to win the ball back was fantastic, for the best part of the fixture and all giving 💯

Big game this Thursday vs Denbigh Town at our Hops & Barley community stadium, whereas we will be able to play our football on a top surface.
A win vs Denbigh, will see us challenging at the top of the league, going in to the second half of the u15’s league season and before a nice trip to Barmouth, in the 1st round of the NWCoast cup on Saturday 💪

Thursday
Vs Prestatyn Town
Back to winning ways, with a strong squad performance this evening, playing at our home Hops & Barley community stadium, on a great playing surface, thanks to our Chairman for the hard work he puts in to it👌
Really happy with how all our new players seem to be settling in, after five fresh faces have come on board over this last week and few days.

A good win and a solid clean sheet ⚽️👌

Saturday
Vs Henllan
Pleasing performance again today, playing at our Hops & Barley community stadium. We did take our foot off the gas and relaxed a little at the start of the second half, after having such a dominant last 15mins of the first half. Final 20mins with a little encouragement, we finished the fixture with lots of enthusiasm once again. On field communication between all the boys, looks to be building👌

Another good win ⚽️👍

Our next two leauge fixtures will be our toughest tests, so far this season and will determine if we are strong enough to challenge for the title. We won’t have the time to take our foot off the gas, in either of these💪

Pre season Results

Ending our U12 Campaign with a win at the SCI tournament we have been regrouping and working hard to be ready for the new season starting next weekend.

We have played a few pre season friendlies against lots of teams like Prestatyn Athletic , NFA, Colwyn Bay and Llanrwst Utd. Some highly competitive games where we ended with 4 wins from 4 and all this topped off with us Winning the Pentre Tournament last weekend 😀

Lads are ready for a very tough start in the league and we look forward to another great season ahead of us.

15’s match report

Very hard defeat to take this evening, from cruising at 0-1 into the final 6 minutes of the game, playing with 10 players for the last 20, after what seemed to be a harsh second yellow card, but we ended up throwing it away in the final few minutes.
Hopefully we will shake it off quickly and look forward to Thursday’s home fixture!

Today has been a fantastic day for our lads, however we were missing our Number 1 between the sticks after an awful injury early on in pre season.

So instead of sitting doing nothing, our GK George pushed him self hard and has managed to climb to the top of Snowdon today to raise money for our boys team. Congratulations George such an amazing achievement, everyone at the club is super proud of you and we look forward to seeing you back in action soon 💪🏻⚫⚪🔴

Pentre Tournament Winners 🏆 🏆 🏆

A fantastic day for the lads, taking 2nd place in the group stages we then went on to play Glan Conwy in the Top Premier Cup final, the lads were on it from the start and came away with the win and the trophy, conceding only 2 goals all day 🏆🏆🏆

Superb start to our season, lads full of confidence ready for the start of the league in a couple weeks time 💪🏻

We took our u11s to the pentre fc tournament today and the lads only went and won the champions cup.
We played a very good prestatyn athletic team in the final, eventually going on to beat them 5-4 on penalties.
Absolutely made up for the lads!! 👏⚽️🖤🤍
