Royal Northern & Clyde Yacht Club The Royal Northern and Clyde was formed in 1978 from a merger of The Royal Northern and The Royal Clyde Yacht Clubs.

The Clubhouse is situated in Rhu with extensive grounds leading down to the Gareloch. We have a very active racing fraternity - in fact the original Gareloch One Design yachts which were built here in 1924 are still racing on a weekly basis. We also have a fleet of Sonars which are co-owned by members and the Club. These boats are used for fleet, Match and Team Racing.

Pudsey Bear is coming to RHU on Tuesday 16 June and all children and their families in the Rhu and Helensburgh community are welcome to come to the RNCYC for the PUDSEY PIRATE PARTY from 4-5:30pm.
Come and support the Big Bear Voyage 2026 to raise funds for BBC Children in Need.

It will be a great opportunity to meet Pudsey Bear which can be a joyful and memorable moment.
