South Wales Saints U15s | End of Season Presentation

We were delighted to come together recently to celebrate the conclusion of a hard-fought league campaign, and to recognise the outstanding dedication, progress and team spirit shown by every player throughout the season. It has been a privilege to watch this group develop both as athletes and young people, and we are incredibly proud of the effort, resilience and sportsmanship displayed week in, week out.

U9’s POTM Awards (Silver Team)

First game was a physical one but team played played real well. Always getting back on side and the chase down was on point some great tackles were put in by both teams really proud of them.

Second game was even more physical we took a lot of injuries but again the players never gave up and worked hard for each other for the whole game. Always got onside and tackled their hearts out. They showed tremendous heart. Well done everyone.

U9’s POTM awards (Black Team)

Game 1 - This game was an end to end match both teams putting on some great entertainment for the supporters. Physical tackles and some great running rugby the game went to wire us just falling short by 1 try.

Opposition Coaches POTM Osian N

Osian had a great game both sides of the ball. His sharpness to pass from the base give us a lot of go forward ball. Also some of his dancing feet got us up the field on numerous occasions on the flip side Osian defensive coverage was outstanding which resulted in a lot of try saving tackles!

Game 2

Another very tough game from the off, but the players really got stuck in some massive tackles and even bigger carries resulted in it being another entertaining game. Unfortunately a lot of mistakes cost us dearly and game got away from us. Credit to Swansea rams they threw the ball around like a ba bas team. Coaches were so proud of the amount of effort and guts all the players had and they kept going right to the final whistle.

Jesse’s physical presence helped the team massively. Every carry got us over the gainline and every tackle he made he did it for the team. Jesse showed some very good offloading skills kept our attack alive resulting in us scoring some lovely tries.
