Seriously though... How was it for YOU?
Has the first chapter of 2023 set you up for another successful one or are you struggling to fit all the pieces of the jigsaw together?
If YOU set Realistic Goals then by now small noticeable changes will have happened & YOU should be feeling Stronger, looking Leaner, Sleeping Better & have More Energy!.

Is your Plan Working Out or have You Already Quit?.
If You're hitting all your Goals then Awesome, I'm Proud Of You.. Keep Going!

Was it because You were Too Restrictive & had Set Unrealistic Goals?...
You should never approach New Eating Habits by thinking that it's all about What You Have To Cut Out.. This Mindset is basically setting You Up For Failure..
You Want To Be Including More in Your Diet.
Think extra Fruit, Veg & Proteins.. You'll be surprised at how much You Can Eat & Still Hit Your Macro Targets.
Get Creative with Food Choices, Don't Cut Anything Out..
You are Not On A Diet.. You are choosing to Eat Better, Fuel Your Body & Train Effectively.
Don't spend hours in the Gym, 4 Sessions of 45-60 Min Per Week.

January a.k.a Gymuary.. New Year, New Me..
The Gym is where it's at, everyone promising that they will stick to it this year, No Excuses.
I've seen it all, heard it all & can guarantee that come the end of the month, normal service will resume. Why? I.M.O it's pretty much because people set Unrealistic Goals where they expect to see Results like Yesterday.
If you're reading this & thinking that sounds like me, seriously ask yourself why you do it time & time again.
I'll say it forever & never tire... Consistency, Time & setting Realistic Achievable Goals are the only Answer.
I get asked alot as to what's the Best Exercise, Diet, Time to Train, How Often??...
My Answer... Do What Works For You but Stick To It!! 🀯🀯.
If MFP helps, Do It.. If it stresses you out, Don't..
What I'm saying is... Set Realistic Small Goals, Improve On Them Weekly, Fortnightly, Monthly.. Start to see Progress & Strive For More.

You should never feel guilty about what you eat, food is a huge part of life & for most of us what brings enjoyment.
I know I'm looking forward to my favourite treats during the festivities but I will counteract that with more nutritious meals & training because at the end of the day that's what it's all about... BALANCE.
Always Do What Works For You, Don't Feel Pressure from the Feeders..
It's not that YOU can't have something, YOU are choosing not to...
I know that when I train & eat well it makes me feel my best but I also enjoy the sugar highs too!
YOU Can Do Both.. Track if it helps but don't if it stresses you out..

Keep your Protein High & Never Cut Out Carbs!
Although this meal does not contain any Starchy Carbs ( bread, rice, pasta, potatoes) it's full of fibrous ones instead, the greener the better!
FYI: I had Protein Oats as Meal 1 today πŸ˜‹

Wait... What??? How did we get here already... How's your training & diet been this year? Consistent, up & down or needs improving? As we enter a month of socialising more & the constant temptation of more treats ( I see you grabbing another Minature Hero from the half eaten tub), YOU always have a choice as to how you approach it. At the end of the day it all comes down to what you want most..
You have to find the balance of enjoyment & control & not be influenced by others. Do What Works For You!
Trust me, you can do both. I know I'll be having a few days of guilt free indulgence but I'll still train 5 Days a week & eat well when I can.. That's called CONSISTENCY. I know I'm always banging the same drum but it really is the key to long term sustainable success..
Why wait until January to promise yourself.. New Year, New Me..
Don't throw it all away in one month.. You Got This!
