ung people to participate in sports of all kinds across the country and now what with the RIO Olympics some 4 years later we have launched an athletics based programme for children between the ages of 2 ½ yrs and 7yrs to allow them to benefit from an “Athletics Play Programme” which is currently the only one of its kind in the UK. Athletix Kidz was set up in 2016 by Sarah & Jason Hoad, who had been watching their own children go through Athletics from an early age through local clubs and their eldest daughter, Lucy, going onto to international level as a sprinter. Throughout this journey they always felt that there was a need for a play programme for children prior to joining a local club at 8yrs old to bridge the gap and prepare them for when they are allowed to join. This programme would allow them to experience the joys of what athletics can give them with its multi events using the basics of running, jumping and throwing! Our programme has been designed to develop your child’s physical, psychological and social attributes whilst encouraging athletics specific skills and offering a healthy outlook on life whilst having lots of fun! Join us this summer for action-packed days full of athletics, team games, obstacle courses, arts & crafts, and lots of fun! 🎉

🎒 What to bring:
✅ A packed lunch or a snack
✅ A refillable water bottle
✅ Suitable outdoor sports clothing and trainers
✅ suitable clothes for indoor in case the weather is bad
✅ Sun hat and sun cream on sunny days

🌦️ Our camps run whatever the weather, with indoor facilities available if conditions aren’t suitable outside.

📍 Multiple locations across Reigate, Caterham, Leatherhead & Oxted

🎉 ATHLETIX KIDZ TURNS 10! 🎉

Today marks 10 incredible years of Athletix Kidz.

What started as a passion for introducing children to athletics through fun, engaging sessions has grown into a community that has inspired thousands of young athletes to run, jump, throw, learn, and most importantly, enjoy being active.

Over the last decade, we’ve seen children take their very first steps into sport, build confidence, make lifelong friendships, and develop a love for movement that extends far beyond our sessions.

None of this would have been possible without our amazing coaches, staff, franchisees, venues, parents, and, of course, the incredible children who bring so much energy and enthusiasm every week.

To everyone who has been part of the Athletix Kidz journey over the past 10 years – thank you. ❤️

We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together and even more excited for what’s still to come.

Here’s to the next chapter and many more years of inspiring the next generation through athletics.

🏅🎉 Sports Day 2026 & Our 10th Birthday Celebration! 🎉🏅

What an incredible day we had celebrating Sports Day 2026 alongside a very special milestone – our 10th Birthday! 🎂💙

Every single child was absolutely amazing. From our youngest participants to our oldest, we saw determination, courage, teamwork, and resilience shine throughout the day.

Sports Day is about so much more than races and medals; it’s about learning valuable life lessons. Our children showed us how to handle disappointment, overcome nerves, keep trying when things get tough, and celebrate both their own achievements and the successes of others.

We are so proud of every child who took part. The smiles, encouragement, perseverance, and positive attitudes on display made the day truly special.

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful parents for your continued support and encouragement. We are incredibly grateful to be part of such a supportive community.

Thank you as well to the amazing Athletix Kidz staff who worked so hard behind the scenes and on the day itself to make this event possible. Your dedication and enthusiasm help create experiences that our children will remember for years to come.

And a special thank you to Next Phase Coffee for joining us with delicious sweet treats and drinks – they were enjoyed by everyone! ☕🍪
