Still plenty going on this month, uptake for our open competitions going strong, would love to see more guests test themselves here, we all know someone who plays elsewhere.

Next captains charity evening is Bingo on 26/9.

Captains night on Thursdays coming to a close, 3 weeks remaining, then the return of night golf league in October.

Heads up for tomorrow afternoon/ evening, course will be closed from 4.30 pm onwards to facilitate our annual cross country event for captains night.

Last 9 holes by 3pm.

First tee for the event will be as soon after 4.30 possible once the course is empty.

5 holes, strokeplay, 25% handicap.

Hectic couple of weeks just past, plenty more approaching.

Retention of The Reg McAvoy Trophy away at Treloy on a scorching Saturday afternoon started a run of great club golf…..

Successful society visit to Truro, followed by a home victory in the County Summer Handicap League against Tehidy, congratulations to all involved so far in this years matches, the team has made it through to finals day for the second year running. 💪🏌️‍♂️☀️

We have welcomed in Rob Webber as our new captain, ‘crowned ‘ Dave Kay as his vice. A brilliant year from Ken saw him raise a whopping £5620.00. Huge thanks to all who supported his events throughout the year.

Rob’s (Tracy’s), first event is a Coffee morning this Sunday from 11am at 37 Kennedy Close. Tr15 3UN, all in aid of Rob’s chosen charity. Cornwall Memory Cafe Network.

August is fast approaching, medal this weekend, and wide variety of competitions throughout the month.

Matchplays are progressing nicely, only a couple lagging behind. Captains nights on Thursdays going strong, 2 clubs and a putter Back 9 this week.

Captains charity bingo evening on the 23rd. Raffle on the night too.
