Not sorry to see the back of January at all, with a bit more light either end of the day the golf continues to grow.
A very warm welcome to the 40 plus new members who have joined us this year, taking full advantage of our 15 months for the price of twelve first year offer. Still an extra two months to be gained by newcomers who join in February with their £250.00 fee, £200.00 for over 65’s, taking them through until April 1st 2027. Just the £1.00 daily visit fee to pay after for as many holes as you like.
The course is holding up well, we have had to impose a trolley ban for the time being (record rainfall in January), we’re not immune. Greens still running swift and very receptive, massive thanks to all patrons for helping out and doing their bit by repairing pitch marks and keeping them as smooth as can be for all to enjoy.
Competitions still plentiful in February, seniors out in force today as Winter League enters its final few weeks. Medal this weekend with an outside chance of showers and not joined up rain……
Great bingo night last Saturday, nearly £300 raised for Ken’s chosen charity, and all but £400 given away in prizes 😁🕺🏻👍
