Here at Redditch Judo Kwai we aim to deliver and foster the sport of Judo in a friendly and educational way. All levels and abilities are welcome, giving the local community opportunities for recreation and competition. We are a club mark accredited club along with being a registered Community Interest Company, which is non-profit. Head Coach’s Oliver and Claire have a Combined 25 Years’ Experience that combines both a technical and competition background. They both have a UKCC Level Two coaching Qualification in Judo and are both DBS checked and First Aid Trained. We also have a 8 strong team of coaches who support us with the day to day running of our club, who are all too DBS checked and First Aid Trained. Oliver, Claire and the team of coaches regularly attend, revalidation courses throughout the year, keeping update with all the latest that is going on in the world of Judo. The coaching team and committee are purely made up of volunteers and contribute for the love of the sport, to benefit the club and to give something back to the local community. Redditch Judo Kwai are affiliated to the Midlands/Worcestershire branch of the British Judo Association (BJA) who is our sport’s Governing Body in the UK. The BJA then belongs and is governed by the IJF (The International Judo Federation, which includes governing bodies from all of the world)
