Every session is about progress - and this time it was all about smoother steering, better control, and building confidence on track.

Safe to say… big improvements since the last visit 👊 (and no pressure washer trips this time 😂)

SPOT THE DIFFERENCE 🏁👀

Same driver, same track… different ……..??? 😢

No one talks about this side of karting - the hidden costs.

The bent parts, the surprise repairs, the “well… that wasn’t in the budget” moments.

It’s not just lap times and podiums - it’s learning the hard way, rebuilding, and getting back out there anyway.

Because in karting, mistakes don’t just teach you… they invoice you too 💸 🤦🏻‍♂️

Would you still do it? EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Well, so long as the budget still permits …. that’s why things like the .team scholarship and and are so important to drivers like me in motorsport.

PART 6: of my journey - A big step forward.

After progressing from arrive & drive karting, I’m proud to be part of the XKART Academy Programme, supporting my transition into Junior Rotax / X30.

Part 5 of my journey... The XKART Scholarship Finals Day 🏁

The next step on my journey to owner driver took me to the assessment day... and what an experience it was.

From setting qualifying laps at either TeamKarting.co.uk or Mr Karting at Adventure Sports Warwick, to making the Top 50 and earning a place at Round 2.

The finals day was intense:
Rental kart sessions.
Fitness testing.
Driver interviews.
Then the shortlist to the final 12...

I was proud to make it through to the afternoon where we got behind the wheel of the X Kart Junior Rotax machinery - with driver feedback sessions and the chance to speak to current team members before final decisions were made.

Since that day, I’ve joined the and the new - another huge step forward on my Motorsport UK pathway.
