We provide fun, inclusive hockey coaching and games for children aged 5-16. Training takes place on Wednesday's, 18:00-19:30pm at our astro.

Do I have OCD when hanging the washing out? Apparently so... and that's half an hour of my life I'm not getting back.

🟢 Juniors: 6–7pm
🔴 Seniors: 7–8pm

As for tonight's tunes, I'm opening it up to you.

Let me know the songs you love to run to, or sing far too loudly to in the car, and I'll add them to the official Rock Up and Play Playlist 2026 🎶

Following on from a great Junior Awards Evening, we are pleased to share our 2025/26 award winners.

Congratulations to everyone recognised. There were some very tough decisions, and all of the players should be proud of what they have achieved this season.

Thank you again to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a success.

For those taking a break now, enjoy the summer. For those who would like to keep playing, we will be switching to Mondays at 6pm. These are relaxed, mixed-age sessions where we play games with whoever turns up.

Please note we won’t be there this Bank Holiday Monday, as there will be a Food and Music festival on site from Saturday to Monday.

Thank you to everyone who came tonight and helped make the evening such a success. The children truly deserve every medal and award — they have worked incredibly hard all season, not just as individuals but as a united team.

None of this would be possible without the dedication of our Coaches. You give up your free time every week, rain or shine, and the impact you have on these young players is clear to see. You do a fantastic job, and the club is very lucky to have you.

Thank you also to all the families for being here tonight and for supporting your children from the sidelines throughout the year. Your encouragement makes a huge difference.

And finally, a big thank you to everyone who helped set up the decorations in the room — your efforts helped make the evening feel special.

Tomorrow is our Junior Awards Night, and we can’t wait to celebrate another fantastic season with you all! 🎉🏑

Here’s a quick reminder of the details:

📅 Wednesday 20th May
📍 Redditch Hockey Club
👕 Dress Code: Whatever you feel comfortable in (coaches will be in smart casual)
🌭 Food: Provided for our players, with any extras available for families
🏆 Awards: Celebrating our team and individual successes
🎟 Raffle: Great prizes up for grabs!

All U16s and their families are very welcome to join us.

Timings:
6:00 PM: Arrival
Awards Ceremony: We aim to start the awards section as soon as everyone is settled, likely around 6:45 PM – 7:00 PM.
8:00 PM: Finish

The evening will be followed by the Europa League Final, so the Aston Villa supporters among us can stay and watch at the club or head home in time for kick-off. ⚽️

Please remember to bring some cash for our Heads & Tails game. For raffle tickets, we are hoping to have a card machine available, but cash is always welcome!

Alongside tomorrow evening’s senior awards event at the club, we’re excited to welcome GB Street Food from 6PM!

Their food truck will be set up in the car park serving a fantastic range of street food. Whether you’re part of the club or local to the area, everyone is welcome to come down and grab a Saturday night treat.

The Redditch Sports Village Bar will be open, so you can enjoy a drink while you wait for your order or relax inside. 🍻
