✨Taite W✨- Taite has recently shown what a good swimmer he can be. This has coincided with his hearing improvement!! This young man has been swimming the best I’ve ever seen him. Always so polite and willing to listen! Keep it up. Taite wouldn’t be getting this award without support from his Grandma who is always poolside to give him encouragement.

✨Myla W✨- Myla has amazed me the past few weeks and has been flying across the pool on both her front and back! This week she swam 10m on her back unaided and did this with confidence! I was super impressed with her swimming. Well done mermaid, keep it up!

Lucas-
✨Millie C ✨- I’ve been really impressed with Millie’s attitude towards lessons. She is taking everything in her stride and always puts in 100%. She has picked up front crawl very quickly and is working hard on her breathing. Well done!

Georgia-
✨Elora L✨- Elora started as a very quiet and nervous young girl and recently her confidence has improved dramatically. Elora has been listening and showing more understanding of what is being asked of her during her swimming lessons. She is now beginning to progress in all aspects of her swimming and I couldn’t be more prouder of her, big well done Elora!

✨Adam & Amir B✨- Wow! These two boys are improving each week, they impress me with their enthusiasm and dedication throughout the lessons. Amir has been swimming by himself on his back with a pull buoy and his confidence has improved significantly. Adam has also progressed amazingly swimming on his tummy! Both of you keep up the amazing work.

✨Aphelia O’S✨- Aphelia is such a ray of sunshine to have in my lessons. She always tries her best at everything she does and is becoming more confident in the water each week! ‼️🌊 National Drowning Prevention Week 🌊‼️

As part of National Drowning Prevention Week, we will be running a Water Safety Week during lessons starting from tomorrow.

The aim of these sessions is to help our swimmers develop the skills, confidence and awareness needed to stay safe in and around water. Throughout the week, all children will take part in water safety activities, with each lesson tailored to suit their age and ability level.

Water safety is an essential life skill and these sessions provide a great opportunity for children to learn how to recognise potential dangers, respond in different situations and enjoy the water safely.

We kindly ask that swimmers do not wear goggles during Water Safety Week. This will help them experience swimming without goggles and better prepare them for real-life situations where goggles may not be available.

We are confident these sessions will be both educational and enjoyable, helping children build valuable knowledge while having fun in the pool.

✨Joshua R✨- Joshua had his first lesson in the strongest lengths class this week and completely nailed it. He had endless amounts of energy and gave 100% effort throughout the lesson. ✨Gene H✨- There’s not enough words to describe how well Gene did this week! He completely blew me away! For some people putting their face into the water is a scary thing and this is something that Gene has been working on for a long time. This week he came in, put his face straight into the water and by the end of the lesson was swimming unaided on his front streamlined! I was super proud of him and know his mum is too! Huge well done Gene!

✨ Miles A-C✨- Miles showed lots of resilience this week. He showed great determination throughout the whole lesson taking on board any feedback given and it was the best swimming I’ve ever seen him do. Well done.

✨Rosie S✨- I’ve been teaching for many, many many years! This week I had the pleasure of teaching Rosie.
It was her first time in the deep end. Some children can find it a bit tricky. Not this young lady! It was the best lesson for someone’s first time in the deep end I’ve ever seen. Totally amazing, well done.

Katie-
✨Stefano✨- I’ve had the joy of teaching Stefano for the past few weeks. He did amazingly well this week and started to put his face into the water which is a huge thing for him! It’s lovely to see him growing in confidence in the water and keeping his legs straight whilst kicking. Well done Stefano!

Charlotte -
✨Emily H✨- Emily has not long been in the deep end and has recently made huge improvements! She was super brave with trying her full breaststroke without floatation aids and her front crawl.
