✨Eddie C✨ - Eddie amazed me this week. After having a little break from swimming he has come back better than ever! He tried his backstroke for the first time this week and completely smashed it! His swimming has improved so much and I’m super proud of how hard he has worked recently! Well done Eddie!

✨Thomas S✨- I’ve been so impressed with Thomas’s progress recently. He’s gone from kickboard to a streamlined rocket in just a few weeks whilst also working very hard on his backstroke. Well done!

✨Frankie H✨- Frankie had an amazing swimming lesson this week. From the moment he entered the water he was full of enthusiasm and excitement. Frankie started his lessons full of nerves but he has put lots of hard work and effort in and is now enjoying every moment in the pool! ✨James B✨ - James’ confidence has come on leaps and bounds in recent weeks, it’s been lovely to see! He is now swimming independently on his back for 10m. This week James swam on his front with minimal support and did so well. He is also improving his confidence with his jumps in and starting to learn that they are really fun! Well done James, keep up the good work!

Lucas-
✨Jude M✨- Jude always tries so hard. He always listens, always try’s to take on feedback as much as he can and is a willing participant. Above all that he’s a joy to teach and always comes with a positive attitude. Well done.

✨Albert D✨- Albert blew me away during his water safety lesson this week. He swam all the way with his face out of the water, jumped into the pool and got back to the side all by himself, and even floated and swam on his back without any armbands or aids. I am so proud of how much confidence Albert has shown in the water. It’s so lovely to see the progress he has made since his first lesson when he didn’t want to even get in the water, let alone swim all by himself with a huge smile on his face! Keep up the amazing swimming, Albert!

✨Keira L✨- Kiera massively impressed me with her water safety knowledge. She answered the questions to the best of her ability and used them during her swims. Well done!

☀️‼️ Important – Please Read ‼️☀️

With the hot weather we are currently experiencing, please ensure that children arrive dressed appropriately for the heat. This also applies to anyone watching from poolside, so please dress suitably to help you stay comfortable during the lesson.

We are doing our very best to keep the poolside area as comfortable as possible. However, it can still become very warm.

Please remember to bring plenty of drinks to help everyone stay well hydrated throughout the lesson💧

If you would like to reschedule your lesson over the coming days due to the hot weather, please get in touch and we will do our very best to accommodate your request.

✨Taite W✨- Taite has recently shown what a good swimmer he can be. This has coincided with his hearing improvement!! This young man has been swimming the best I’ve ever seen him. Always so polite and willing to listen! Keep it up. Taite wouldn’t be getting this award without support from his Grandma who is always poolside to give him encouragement.

✨Myla W✨- Myla has amazed me the past few weeks and has been flying across the pool on both her front and back! This week she swam 10m on her back unaided and did this with confidence! I was super impressed with her swimming. Well done mermaid, keep it up!

✨Millie C ✨- I’ve been really impressed with Millie’s attitude towards lessons. She is taking everything in her stride and always puts in 100%. She has picked up front crawl very quickly and is working hard on her breathing. Well done!

‼️🌊 National Drowning Prevention Week 🌊‼️

As part of National Drowning Prevention Week, we will be running a Water Safety Week during lessons starting from tomorrow.

The aim of these sessions is to help our swimmers develop the skills, confidence and awareness needed to stay safe in and around water. Throughout the week, all children will take part in water safety activities, with each lesson tailored to suit their age and ability level.

Water safety is an essential life skill and these sessions provide a great opportunity for children to learn how to recognise potential dangers, respond in different situations and enjoy the water safely.

We kindly ask that swimmers do not wear goggles during Water Safety Week. This will help them experience swimming without goggles and better prepare them for real-life situations where goggles may not be available.

We are confident these sessions will be both educational and enjoyable, helping children build valuable knowledge while having fun in the pool.
