Redcar Rugby Union Football Club Welcome to the home of Redcar Rugby Union Football Club on Facebook! We are also fully affiliated to the British Caravanning Club with all amenities on hand.

Redcar Rugby Union Football Club is a social club that caters for a whole host of opportunities from enjoying a drink, taking part in sport, health and fitness to function room bookings for parties, christenings and weddings. The outdoor space is the largest in the town with 6 acres of fully licensed land which is available to support any major events, festivals, rallies or shows, e.g Redcar Rocks

, VW Rally to local primary school sports days and competitions. The outdoor area hosts 3 full size rugby pitches, 1 junior pitch, two football pitches it has a well looked after patio area which is a sun trap in the summer months and the club has its own BBQ facilities on request. It doesn't stop there...inside the club we have three fully licensed bars, function rooms facilities with optional catering and DJ available we have conference/meeting rooms all of these are free to hire based on a deposit of £100. With the full Sky package we are able to offer Live Sport across four screens, and the opportunity to make big events our own with every major game or tournament shown live. We currently run two darts teams, a pool team and have plenty to offer the young children with all of the above available to them as well as table tennis and lots of space to play !!! Children are made very welcome and are allowed in the club Under the age of 14 until 9pm. We have Four state of the art squash courts, fully equipped cardio/resistance and cross fit gym, men’s and ladies changing and showering facilities. Next season, our Mariners will be joining the newly formed Candy League 3 south. While the teams and structure are still to be finalised we have a rough idea of the competition, this is going to be an exciting opportunity for our lads with some real tough games and experience to be gained. Introducing your captains for the 24/25 season ⚫️🔴🏉

James Toward will captain the 1XV, after recently receiving player of the year we have no doubt he will lead from the front setting an example for the boys. Nathan Cooke will step up for the mariners, having joined the club recently he has made a big impact on the younger players around him and has been a constant feature in the squad.

Both these players were voted for and supported by the players and we are very exciting for the season ahead!

The u16s celebrated their presentation evening last night, the awards went as followed;

This season has possibly been the toughest season for the u16s with one thing or another but they pulled together as a team pushed through and managed to end the season on a positive which isn’t an easy thing to do, I’m incredibly proud of them and look forward to seeing them progress further next season as Colts!
