Thanks as always to Beth who helps to keep my life easy coming up with some fantastic activities for the kids to stay happy and active 💜

I’ve throughly enjoyed being more involved than usual in the delivery over the last two weeks and that’s kudos to the children who have joined us who have been brilliant 👏🏼

And here are our 2025/26 Boys’ League Champions Chandlers Ridge 🏆

Ran close in the end by Saltburn Primary, Chandlers finished with an impressive 9 wins from 10 games, scoring 70 goals and conceding just 18 🤩

Well done to Mr. Harkins and the boys on a brilliant year and good luck to all of the Year 6 children who move to secondary school in September 👏🏼

Chandlers boys team are the League Cup Winners 🏆

A huge well done to St Benedict's Girls’ who won our 2025/26 Football League, and also to Miss Harland who worked tirelessly to get the girls playing as they were 👏🏼

What a group 👏🏼

Love being back involved coaching these girls and seeing them back with smiles on their faces this morning make all the hard work worthwhile ❤️

Our u12 girls were finally back in action this morning as we made the trip to Northallerton.

It had been a few months since the girls played and boy did they return full of fight, flying to an early 4-0 lead inside the first 15 mins 👏🏼

Due to the heat in Northallerton this morning the teams agreed there’d be plenty of breaks to re-hydrate and opportunities to get subs on more often.

After the break, we conceded trying to get back up to the pace of the game, but we responded straight away…

Una came onto the right and the opposition struggled to deal with her running power and technique. She quickly added end product to her game after rounding 3, and laid the ball across on a plate for Jorgia to tuck home. Both a constant thorn in Northallerton’s side through the rest of the game.

There was only one team who was ever going to win from this point and the girls managed to create so more many chances.
We also looked strong defensively with Everly taking the pressure off with some important saves and catches, and Zara, Heidi and Eve being really strong and reducing the chances the opposition had to a minimum.

We managed to add another SEVEN, yes, SEVEN goals to finish the game in style, including a wonder-strike from new singing Josie from a 25 yard free-kick, and Jorgia bagging 4 in 15 mins from the left-wing, the first of which flew over the goalkeeper into the top 🗑️ from 30 yards! 🤩

A midfield consisting of different variations of Millie, Josie, Maisie, Raine and Bridie looked as though they had played through the middle together for years, giving the gaffer a few selection headaches going forward! 🤕

From a team who struggled for confidence last season and ended in March not knowing what the future held, to playing how they did today, you can be nothing but proud of the strides the girls have made over the off-season.

6 new additions in Everly, Eve, Lola, Josie, Lyla and Una have settled in brilliantly and added so much to the group.
