League games finally returning for the lads ❤️

After the 1st teams exciting 3-2 win over high flying Shildon this evening football returns to the John Keegan stadium on Thursday night as Marske Utd U-21’s open their league campaign with a home game against Swalwell U-21’s.

With kickoff at 19:30 and free entry why not come down and support the U-21’s who hope to start the season with a win.

Hot drinks and refreshments will be available from The Kabin up until half time - cash only.

The U12 Girls returned to winning ways this morning with an impressive victory over Darlington Locomotives at Green Lane.

In high winds the team performed well defensively which was the platform for getting all 3 points today. And having only the bare 9 players due to holidays and injuries the girls knew this was going to be a battle.

But every one of the girls put a shift in and we got what we deserved in the end for the fantastic work rate on display. Counter-attacking football at its best 💪🏼

Our u12 girls were back in league action this morning at a sunny green lane and boy, did they put on a show!

The girls had been asked to brave in all phases of the game, to tackle hard and play forwards wherever possible. The Wynyard goalkeeper did well to keep the score down and after a tough first 10-15 mins, our pressure told and the floodgates opened.

The majority of the game was played in the opposition half but anything that Wynyard did throw at us was coolly dealt with by Everly and the defenders. A first clean sheet for a long time! 🧤

⚠️ Due to current weather conditions and forecast for thunder storms this evening we have decided to cancel tonight’s Friday Night Football ⚠️

All current bookings will be rolled over to next week’s sessions, when all children will move to their new year groups. Note: all current Year 2 children will now move to the Year 3 group at 6pm!

A fantastic summer has been had and I’m now looking forward to returning to my schools next week 💜

Please note that we have decided against running the rearranged day tomorrow as previously discussed due to a lack of interest in the extra day. If this effects you please get in touch and I can talk you through what your options are regarding your booking in credit and also if any of the items in the final photo belong to your child‼️
