District League Match
Redcar & Cleveland U15s 2-2 Hartlepool U15s.

The game started with Hartlepool on the front foot, scoring after only a couple of minutes with a well taken goal at the back post.

Hartlepool carried on to look dangerous for the next 20-25 minutes and could have added to their lead on a couple of occasions.

Redcar & Cleveland managed to get a better foothold on the game in the last 10-15 minutes of the first half and were rewarded with an equaliser in that time following a brilliantly well taken 20 yard first time effort from Jack Landels.

Redcar & Cleveland created another chance before half time, but unfortunately could not take.

Second half started like the first with Hartlepool on top and lots of good defending from Redcar & Cleveland keeping it level.

However with around 20 minutes to go Hartlepool took the lead direct from a corner aided by the wind.

This then spurred Redcar & Cleveland on who pushed hard for an equaliser and created some great chances, but unfortunately could not take.

However they got themselves an equaliser with 5 minutes left to play following a good through ball from Max Devereux who found Finlay Turner who rounded the keeper to make it 2-2.

With further chances falling to Redcar & Cleveland in the last few minutes, but Hartlepool keeper kept them out for what ended as a 2-2 draw of which was about a fair outcome.
