CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who graded this weekend, and for those who achieved Black Stripe and Shodan a couple of weeks ago. We are very proud of you all, and cannot thank you enough for supporting us during the lockdown.

We aim to be back at physical training in January,and I shall email you with dates next week. January is also licence renewal time, so we'll be handing out forms once we return.

Unfortunately we are forced to close from this Thursday - but will be continuing with Zoom both on Saturday and Wednesday. Those grading in November and December, we will endeavour to cover your whole syllabus thoroughly on the zoom sessions.

We are very very proud of those of you who graded this weekend: Master Lenard, Miss Bailey, Mr Ward and master Ward all achieved Black Stripe on Saturday.
Today Miss Bailey snr and Miss Knobloch reached Shodan (first level black belt).
Also today,Mr Gurney and Mr Reid attained their Nidan (second level black belt).

The standard was excellent from all of you,and we couldn't be happier for you.

WELL DONE - YOU ALL EARNED IT!!!!!!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS to all those who passed their grading today. The standard was very high from our students and we are very proud of you all.
We will be working on delivering your belts, in a safe manner, w/c July 20th - once the senior gradings are concluded. Those who are successful on the 18th/19th, I will email you after the grading with regard delivering your belts that week too.
Phew.
Then we can all relax! :D

Note to all BROWN/RED STRIPES AND ABOVE: The kumite has CHANGED. This is a permanent change that will continue when we return to our dojos and gradings. I will be going through the NEW WAY of practising the kumite on SATURDAY 30TH MAY at 11.30am AND 12 noon. Both sessions are a must attend for senior grades, otherwise you will fall behind when we return to our classes.

It is wonderful that so many higher grades have been attending the online classes, but for those who HAVE NOT been training, this session will be very important.
