Centurions RLFC: 30 Years Celebration Day 🎉

Hi everyone,

We’re incredibly proud to be celebrating **30 years of Centurions Rugby League Club** this year, and to mark the occasion we’re hosting a special **Celebration Day July 4th** – bringing together players past and present, families, friends and supporters of the club.

It’s going to be a fantastic day filled with rugby, memories and community spirit as we celebrate everything the Centurions has built over the past three decades 🏉

As part of the celebrations, we’re also raising funds to support the club ahead of next season. To help us do this, we’re putting together a **raffle** and are reaching out to our wider network for any **donations or prizes** that we can include.

If you, your business, or someone you know would be able to contribute a prize – big or small – we would be hugely grateful. Every donation will help us continue to grow the club and support our players for the future.

ALL 3 Amateur Teams from the South registered 0 (ZERO) points.
There needs to be a change in attitude about getting Nil-ed.
You WILL be in their half for some of the game.
Drop a goal and get the ball kicked back to you and repeat.
Same for a kickable penalty.
It all eats up the available minutes, keeping your opponents score nearer to yours.
Get on the scoreboard and give your vastly more professional opponents a Bloody Nose.
Keep repeating until they move their players around to stop your kicker.
Think of another way of disrupting your opponents game plan.
Get. On. The. Scoreboard.
There is No Honour in scoring Nothing.

This Saturday if you are down at the Club to watch the Lions (11amko) please wander over to the 2nd XV pitch and cheer on the St Albans Centurions u14s in their semi final vs Brentwood (10amko).
They will appreciate and remember your support.
If you are training(!), do the same after you've finished.

Well Done St Albans Centurions u14s who ran out 58-14 Winners vs Bromley, are Top of their Table and into the semi-finals.
Tough day for the u16s reduced from 14 to 10 men.
Away from Home, U11 drew 6 tries each and u12/13 won. Great effort and best thing the u11 Dads took full responsibility!
Cheers to Everyone who helped out today and to St Albans RFC for the facilities!
