In our busy office environments, it’s easy to overlook the small opportunities for movement. One simple habit I’ve adopted is taking the stairs instead of the lift. It may seem minor, but the steps soon add up.
This aligns with NEAT—Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis. NEAT includes all our unstructured physical activities, and by opting for the stairs, we can boost our daily movement without extra time for a workout.

Climbing a few flights can invigorate you and break up long hours of sitting. So next time you're heading to a meeting a few floors up, think about taking the stairs. Let’s commit to incorporating more NEAT into our days and inspire each other to stay active!
