Spot of Trotting for Dace between the welcomed showers.

Very "odd" float set-up I was using.
A loaded waggler fixed at the top as well with a float rubber,( Drennan Visi Wag 8 ) and with the pre weight adjusted to be 1g less and replaced by a 1g olivette as dropper. Crud, weird, but works strangely well. Allows for float changing without any other changes, just the float.

Dark Carbon 12' 1.00tc Specialist Float rod ( 2pc, easy made up transport ) great for targeting any species under 4lb but with enough low down steel to give you a fighting chance if a real big'ee turns up.
Very light in the hand and with a true "specialist" rod action.
