Belated thanks to Temple Golf Club for hosting this year's Millenium Trophy, a popular team-of-three event with each player from a different club.

The final of the Ann Bryant Cup was played yesterday at Royal Ascot Golf Club.

This is the knockout competition involving the top 8 players qualifying from the Division 2 Spring Meeting.

The two finalists were both from Easthampstead Ladies Golf Club. Many congratulations to the winner, Edmee Murray, and well played also to runner-up Ritva Dean in what was a closely contested match.

Many thanks to the knockout organiser Ann Pennel, to Royal Ascot and other clubs who hosted matches, and also to County Captain Jules Tarr for being on hand to present the prizes.

On the hottest day of the year, our 2nd Team contested 1st/2nd place in the regional league final against Northampshire.

Congratulations to the team who played brilliantly in a close-fought match, ending as runners up in the Midlands South region.
