Bujinkan Reading Looking to learn Self Defence within a friendly and fun environment, that will improve both your fitness and self confidence? New students welcome.

First lesson free, with no obligation. Class fees are £8 per session (£5 for students/ unemployed). For those of you looking for an effective practical self defence system, which is ideal for Woman's Self Defence, then look no further. We utilise dynamic body movement and positioning over strength and power. As such, it is an art that is accessible to everyone, regardless of age or ability. Bujink

an Budo (more commonly know as ninjutsu in the West) uses dynamic body movement and positioning over power and strength. This martial art is particularly effective for Woman's Self Defence. We'll teach you to move naturally with correct body posture. As you learn your confidence will grow as you, yourself develop. We are not a competitive martial art. The only competition you have is with yourself and your own personal development and progression. Bujinkan Reading is a branch of the Bujinkan main Dojo based in Chiba Ken in Japan. Bujinkan Reading seeks to promote the teachings of the Bujinkan and help students develop into effective practitioners of this practical martial art and self defence system. t's main instructors have been training in the martial arts for over 30 years and have studied with a numerous high calibre people in the UK, Europe and Japan.

Kinshi Henka from Kukishin Ryu, Tachi Waza. The tachi is not like the Katana, which is a cutting weapon. The Tachi is a battlefield weapon used in conjunction with armour, so it is designed for bludgeoning and stabbing into vulnerable areas in armour such as the armpits or groin. For this reason, tachi techniques have more in common with handbo than katana techniques.
